Hi, Starting to set up for my teardrop build on a budget. I got a van floor from one wrecking a while ago, worked out the shape I wanted and ended up with this. I would like another piece of floor for the other side, its good no joins. There will be a cladding over it for appearance. Thanks to Reddo for helping out with the chassis. More to come.

Aaaaaahhhhh..
A teardrop towed with a MK1 Escort.
Should be a nice combination.

I can also see now why you wanted a another one piece plywood floor... Should have realised you wanted it for a wall ;)
Great idea......
But if you cant get another large piece and you are going to clad over it... you could still get away with making the left wall out of 2 sections of ply. If the van is only 8ft long you could run the join in the twp pieces at waist hieght the length of the van.

Cladding can hide a lot of evils..

Thats a good start Peter 8-)

Should have mentioned the size, 10'x5'. Should be able to stretch out. Its not only a Mk1 Esky its a panelvan so a bit more room for storage and the dog. We haven't got a babysitter so she will have to come with us.

:D

You would be surprised just how many well seasoned K9 Vintage Vanners come away on the tours and get togethers with thier owners...
And.. They behave much better than some of their owners too...
