Fairway caravan recently offered for sale on ebay.

Sellers comment.

Length - 11ft 6 inches

Height - 7ft 6 inches

Width - 6ft 6 inches

Overall length including drawbar - approx. 13ft 10 inches

Wheels - 15 inch x 6 inch with 5 stud Ford F100 / Jeep / Daihatsu stud pattern

Tyres - 205/60/15 Radials Brand new

Weight - 580Kg unladen

Interior:

Original lino floor still in place. Has become "tessilated" ( cracked into squares ) due to age, but I have left it as original. Presents well .
Original ice chest
Original pale green sink with chrome over brass hand operated water pump.
Original 12V X (4) and 240 V X (1) Light fittings
Original chromed rocker switches on 12 volt lights
Has 1 original Power point near door . I have installed an extra power point near the sink as well as a weather proof Power point underneath the van for power in the annexe area.
Original dark red crushed velvet seat cushions . Old kaypock filling has been replaced with medium density foam . Much lighter and more comfortable without detracting from original appearance.
New red chequered curtains
4 seat dinette / table at the rear converts to double bed . Front full width lounge seat converts to make extra bunk.
Full width storage under front seat for annexe poles/ropes /pegs
Storage under rear seats including Battery cradle ( No battery supplied with van)
Floor to ceiling wadrobe.
Original cream enamel paint on all cupboards . Original acrylic pale green on ceilings.
Bevelled edge mirror over small bench next to wardrobe
Original Pale yellow laminex bench tops . Small hinge down bench over right side of front seat.
2 burner LPG stove replaces original 2 burner metho stove.
Original galv water tank leaks when fully filled . Fitment of a new plastic or remanufactured galvanized tank is advised.
Exterior

Original Oregon framed timber windows
Full aluminium stone guard at the front
Towel rail front and back
Original accessory striped canvas window awnings for front / rear and off side windows
Repainted in Dulux enamel "Birdseed" cream and "Eu-De-Nil) pale green stripe
Roof is calico over timber in good condition.
I have replaced the original Annexe mount Marconni track with the later "sailtrack" for ease of annexe erection.
Original annexe roof just been re-waterproofed in good condition
New annexe walls with Velcro for easy fitting and removal
Original 2 piece timber annexe poles. Annexe measures 6 ft wide and is full length of van. Original weatherstrip / breeze stop canvas attaches along lower edge of van.
Original chassis with short draw bar in good condition. Chassis constructed by "Ajax" chassis co . Sydney.
New 50mm override coupling replaces original U.S 63mm ball size / 3.5 tonne tow coupling.
Brakes and wheel bearings all in good condition.
2 new 205/60/15 tyres on Diahatsu rocky 15 X 6 rims.( please note :some photos show Ford Pilot wheels and caps. These have been replaced with the Diahatsu wheels to lower the van and improve stability when towing)
I have installed a swaybar on the axle to reduce pitch and body roll when towing
Has 1 cracked window in the rear
Total weight is 580KG
7 pin flat 12 Volt trailer plug
