Yo..
I hooked up Matilda and went along to this years Rickshaw Hot rod Clubs annual M.A.D Day ... motorists appreciation day.
Cloudy with drizzle when I hooked up,,, but the day improved and there was aprox 300 cars, buses, trucks, bikes and... caravans on display.
Welllllllll... not too many caravans... wellllllllllll... hardly any caravans... Just 3.
I never got a chance to take a pix of the Kombi and sunliner...
So ... here are the 2 that I did get a shot of...
The second one here looks vaguely familiar too....
T
It appears to have sold on the day for..... $8500...
Obviously must have appealed to the new owner.
If it looks like a duck.......
A bloke should start making a few replica ones aye....

Re: Mad Day 2015
I can just see it, in 50 years time the caravan historians will be waxing lyrical about this old codger from Barnsley that used to build what was known as " Reddo Specials ". Used to dabble in the old Pommy bikes and early Holdens too , a bit of a legend .
