1940's 21 ft Caravan.

Post by Richard »

John and Kathy sent some photos through today of a 21 ft caravan that they have for sale.
They also emailed some photos of the van being used in its hey day.
It is a fantastic 1940's streamlined caravan typical of the shape at that time, but what makes it unusual is that it has a large bathroom with hot water..

What a beautiful piece of touring history.. 21 foot..wow.
Did you notice the amount of rear end overhang ??
Would need some sort of skid rail/rollers under there to prevent it scraping its bottom on driveways etc.
Hope someone buys it and gives it the love and attention it deserves..
Bit too big and heavy for my Holden to tow.
