Motorfest 2009

Post by Richard »

Linda and I were up at 5:00 am this morning to make our way to the 2009 NRMA Motorfest. We arrived at 7:00 am to find only four other plywood caravans set up ready for the thousands of people to arrive.
Our Propert set up by 8 am.

We had the van set up and we went for a wander to have a look at the other 999 old cars on show. By the time we arrived back we had a queue of people looking inside the van which continued till about 5 pm . Even as I was trying to fold up the caravan I had people trying to catch a glimps of the inside.
We took one of our Hutchinson Dolly wheels along for a display, which turned out to be as big of a sucess as the caravan, and we have an invitation from the Powerhouse Museum to inspect their Propert caravan and memorabilia.
We had a steady queue of people all day inspecting the inside of the van.
