Our 10 foot Van.

Hi.
We have just purchased a lovely little 10 foot caravan from our relative. It has a front kitchen and 2 single beds at the rear. The outside is clad in alumimium but the original ply is still underneath.
We were just wondering if you could tell us if it is a home made or factory built caravan, and how old do you think it is ?

Welcome to the ourtouringpast.com forum. Great little caravan, and the 10 foot caravans are in high demand as they are light and easy to tow. I would say that your caravan would have been built around the mid 50's to the early 60's, although its a bit hard to tell from the photos. If you post or email me some photos of the interior I should be able to date it better and tell you if it was home built or not.
