Errol has emailed some photos of his parents Aristocrat caravans that were built not far from me at Fairy Meadow. ( Wollongong ). The first is their 1948 Aristocrat.
The next lot of photos are of their Aristocrat that was purchased new in the 1956.
In 1976 Mr Hutchins decided to sell his Aristocrat as he and his wife were getting on and caravaning was becoming a bit of a struggle. He took the van to a van yard to sell, and the proprieter told him because of the age of the van he could not give him what it was worth. But to help him out he could leave it on the lot to see if someone would be interested. Disgruntled with this, as Mr Hutchins didnt want every man and his dog tramping through his van, he gave the van to his son Errol who used the van till it was eventually sold in 1985.
