Photographer looking for caravans and people for a series

Post by jonathanmay »

Hi there,
I am a sydney based photographer and I am currently doing a series on people with their caravans. If you would be interested in being featured with your van please get in touch. If I capture enough material it may become a coffee table book.
I am willing to travel to your place, and it should only take an hour or so.

Some of the work I have already shot can be seen at

Recent photography achievements:
- 2 x Exhibitions in Sydney
- First ever Australian photographer to exhibit at Moscows Central House of Artists
- 2009 SMH "shoot the chef" winner
- 2 x Silver awards at the international aperture competition

Please email me photos of you and your van to

I have been in contact with Jonathan over the last couple of weeks about his request to photograph some historic caravans. Over the next few weeks he will be using some of my vans to photograph and I strongly urge owners of caravans old and new to get in contact with Jonathan as he is also willing to travel to see the vans, and the more character the better.

The more vans that are photographed will help him on his way to Australias first coffee table book on Caravans old and new .

Jonathan has also just started his own blog, where some of the photographs already taken can be seen.
