Don Cadet 4 page brochure.
This shaped Don was available from 1956 on, but the old round shaped Dons were still available as a special order.

Hi Richard

Here are a couple of Don Caravan items that may be of interest.
The first is an advertisement from The Argus, October 24, 1945 that advises that they are resuming business at their old address. I guess WWII put a halt to caravans and caravanning for the duration

The second is an advertisement from the 1954 Modern Motor Annual using the same artwork as an advert already on the forum but with a dot point list of things that make a Don caravan stronger. At the bottom is an item that indicates Don was involved in the establishment of ‘Green Acres’ caravan park at Springvale, Victoria. Is this just an obscure advertisement for Green Acres or was there some involvement :?:

My Google search didn't find a Green Acres caravan park in Victoria although there is one in Qld and WA as well several in the UK.

Hi Griffin.
That is interesting as the ad does state "Dons latest contribution to caravanning in Australia".

Cheers.

A 1959 Ad for the new Don 150. When the 150 was released Don Caravans no longer made the original rounded shaped Dons such as the 120 or the 140.

And at the opposite end a 1937 ad.
