Steam Bent Timber.

Post by Richard »

I have been doing a bit of research for the restoration of the Glen caravan, and I contacted a business in Daylesford Timber Benders to see about getting the 2 top wall plates bent.
To get a simple curve shape to match that on the Glen will cost about $77.00 per piece.
Click on the following link to have a look at the profile of the van. Glen Roofline
Which I think is very reasonable considering the amount of time that would go into laminating the 2 top plates.
