1957 Metropolitan station wagon & Portafold caravan

Post by griffin »

Found this interesting combination on the net the other day, too cute not to share. I was actively looking for one of these Nash cars a while back, somehow I finished up with a '62 Thunderbird!

https://www.flickr.com/photos/unclegal/ ... otostream/ Lots of other classic car photos if you click left and right from this photo, no excuse not to now with all this spare time.

G'day George... Never been a big fan of filled in front wheel arches... they must have had rims with a large offset inwards so they didnt rub on the guards when turning.. ??? Nash was a good car...

Hi Reddo
Tend to agree with front wheel spats being off putting UNLESS you have one of these, my ultimate dream car!!!

Probably not up to towing much, but if I could afford one then I could afford a Hilton or two.
