Radiator bloke is not real happy with the spruce up on the EH radiator. said its Ok .. but its 55 years old and wouldnt like to test it under extreme conditions like towing on hot days etc.
So.. have fitted it back in the car for now. I have a spare 179 radiator with a shot core, will give him that so he can get started on building me a new one with a new brass/copper core...my system will get a flush with a few beers when i finally get the bill ... $625... thats for a 2 core .. a 3 core is $800.. brass and copper has gone through the roof in price.
Yep.. i could buy a 3 core aluminium one off ebay for $160... but .. the price says it all...
Cost less 'cause ya get a LOT less,
Thank god i sold the toy hauler... gunna need the dosh for rego and radiator.
