I"m gunna contact all parks ... tell em i am you.... ( geez thats gunna be painfull ) and advise them that i ( you ) are bringing a 9ft van and will no longer require drive through sites...... ..... might even throw in a comment ... like... i dont mind camping near the transpiration area and dump point....he..he..he..

i suppose we have as much chance of seeing you reverse a van onto a site as we have of seeing World Champion surfer Kelly Slater surfing the point break at Lightning Ridge  :o

Firstly the van is 9foot 3inches, secondly how would they mix up my educated tone and delivery with your westy electrical drawl ? Thirdly we have camped near you before so I don`t think the dump point would be much different. Lastly, why wasn`t I told Kelly Slater was coming ?? :D :D :D :D :D :D

9 foot 3 inches...??.....So you are taking the egg instead of the Chicken!!!. Bit small for 13 days on the road..

Yep...your right .. the managers would pick your voice anywhere.. There is nothing like the sound of Foghorn Leghorn making a call from up the telegraph pole out the front of Sam Druckers store at Hooterville.

Yep... thats me.. "Mr Methane" the "00" Agent... silent.. but deadly.

Meanwhile i have packed 2 bricks in the Hilux.
have heard nothing about van park arrangements at Moree or Manilla.. so ... i figure i will do a drive by on the respective police stations.. throw a brick through the front door... The resulting action by the boys should see me get overnight accomodation in a secure spot... and maybe even a free breakfast... 8-)

It pays to have a contingency plan when on tour. :D

Hi Pete..

Our Tour Organiser seems to be otherwise disposed at the moment..
To answer your question...
Carol and Doug have set aside 4 or 5 sites for us in the one area of the park ...up near the entrance . If you want a "sacred site" aka where you always set up on the Christmas in July weekend , you can ring and let em know that ...

See ya wednesday/

Good morning fellow Tourourists,
One more sleep for Pam and I before the pre tour kicking off tomorrow in sunny Murrurundi where we will catch up with some then on to Kootingal on Thursday before the Grab an Opal Tour kicks off on Friday. There will be a bowl of Pumkin soup for all on Friday night.
Everybody check your car and van and drive safely.
