Shellharbour 2018

Post by jubbard »

Time to start planning this years’ Shellharbour gathering, the dates are Wednesday 17th October until Wednesday 24th October and of course you can nominate which days you want to be there for.

Before we left last year I rebooked all the same sites plus put 6 more on hold. You can let me know here or on the vintage caravans thread.

The only other thing we need to think about is what will this years’ challenge be. Last years’ scone challenge was lots of fun, though I do think there was some bribery going on between contestants and judges.

Looking forward to hearing from you, no need for deposits yet.

Also wandering what happened to the swapmeet they use to have at the airfield in October.??
Some of us that where staying at Coledale use to shoot down there on the sunday morning for a scout about??

If the 2 events i have asked about arent happening while we are at Shellharbour ... well then...... i guess i better bring more bait and spend more time on the rocks fishin'.. 8-) 8-)

All part of the rehab process that is suppose to be a distraction from drinkin... but when ya dont catch any fish.. well then... thats enough to drive ya to drink.... its a vicious circle folks...bait.. fish.. nothing.. drink... bait ....fish.. nothing .. drink........

Dont they know we need to be kept occupied.. i reckon all these show organisers are getting paid to reschedule thier dates by the local pubs and bottle shops.... no shows.. means more socialising time.....its enough to turn a man to drink :D

Not happy Jan.....well.... at least not until happy hour, then all will be forgotten.... even my name !!!
