With all the vehicles I have owned George, Vauxhall isn't one of them. So it will be a learning curve.

Its pretty near all there, missing the logo off the front of the bonnet and the chrome flashes down the side of the front guards/doors is about all that I can see so far.

I am told an FJ/FX tail gate is the same as the Velox one, same as the rear window.

For a few years I have been looking for a ute, but not one you see every day, so when this one came up for sale locally, I HAD to drag it home !! Even though it hasn't got a tow bar...…………………… yet !!

Thank you for your offer George, I will definitely keep you in mind :)

Hiya Old farts
Not a bad score..I have always liked the shape of the old Vauxy utes...... and i am sure it will make a good towcar once you lavish a bit of love... and a towbar on it.
Just dont go near it with a spray gun... i love the patina.

Happy motoring.

Hey Dave, you have finally come over to the dark side.

Great choice of good old Aussie ute, seeing as those Vauxhall utes were only ever built here.

Good luck with the refurb, I'm sure it will come up to your usual standard.

Gday Leigh.

I wanted something different in a ute. The Velox was local, pretty much all there and minimum of rust for its age .

At the moment i would like to get it up to rego stage and looking clean and tidy and then see if it gets modified.

Cheers mate :)
