Hi Griffin.
Great find. You never know what was at your back door, Ill go and see what is there now and take a photo if it is the original old building.

Cheers.

Another advert for the 'Travel Trailer', this time from the "Open Road" April 1967 so they seem to have been in business for a few years although this shows a big jump in prices in just three years.

Did you ever get to check out the site Richard and see what's there now?

Its interesting that one of these campers has popped up for sale again.
So is this two I know of now, Or is it one and the same? LOL

George I did have a look at the address, well the two ads show the same street but different numbers. 25 would be a little battleaxe block industrial site, but cant find a 42 as that side of the street was originally a railway line from a local coal mine.
And you wouldnt believe but google maps image is half blurred for 25.

Hi Richard

That will save me the trouble of looking!

Attached is an item of interest, the Arrow-Burdenmaster camper trailer, sort of along the same lines.
I'd create a new thread except I don't know where they were made. It was displayed at the Melbourne Motor Show in 1957. From Modern Motor June 1957.

Good use for your trailer as long as you didn't move a load of manure before wanting to take it camping.

Cheers
George
