How is this for a cool collectable? Its an early 1950's GMH Silent Salesman. Basically its a fancy brochure holder. :roll: :roll:

Great piece of kit Richard, they did a similar one for Vauxhall, let me know if you ever find one, got to be one out there somewhere.

I wander if Holden will parade the last Holden off the production line around on a tram when they close down in the not too distant future. :?:

GMH paraded Vauxhalls on a special tram in Brisbane in the 60s too, wonder if those special trams survived.

Here's an early advertisement about the new Holden rather than for it from The Australian Women's Weekly via Trove. It's probably a bit hard to read, the interesting bit is the little booklet they were giving away to tell all about the new car. I've never seen one, you would think there would have to be a few about. Something to look out for Richard if you don't have one already.
