I have found an article from September 1948 that states " New Horizon now out of production ".
Messrs. Randle and Aldred, who were making the remarkable New Horizon "Springbok" caravan, have now ceased production, to concentrate upon repetition engineering.
They were not a profitable business proposition, even at a selling price of 700 pounds. according to Mr Aldred. It is a pitty that such a unique design of caravan should go off the market, but it will prove a good answer to those people who feel that they are being asked too much for a caravan. The framework of the New Horizon, was built entirely of tubular steel, bolted and electricly welded.
