Hey... did anyone hear about the great weekend of vintage caravanning coming up soon at Stockton Caravan Park...
Yep... Go back to the start of this thread and read all about it.....
Kindly ignore the banter over the last 3 or 4 posts..
If you are wandering where stockton beach caravan park is ??... Google STOCKTON "...not... " Stocton" as the organiser would have you believe

I suspect the typo is an honest mistake as the organiser is a fitter ( aka slow learner) and is still finding his feet as a vintage van event organiser .

Well boys, girls, mum`s,dad`s,uncle`s ,aunties and anyone else. The countdown is on, have you booked, is the van ready (how long since you checked those pesky wheel bearings??), old car all good or is you going to cheat and bring the modern. Remember this place has the new beaut camp kitchen so we can give whatever weather is thrown at us the bird.

Hi
Just a quick message to say we had a great time at Stockton Caravan Park last weekend.
Weather dished up everything from 30 deg sunny heat on Thursday through to a massive electrical storm with threats of hail.

Somewhere around 16 vans.. all the usual offenders including a surprise visit from the Sutcacs with their freshly hatched double yoker 16 foot sunliner... vvvveeeeeryyyy nice.

We gave the new camp kitchen a work out and everyone agreed its a 10 out of 10.... maybe a bit too good. The whole area is air conditioned. If you stayed in there too long ya didnt wanna come out into the humidity.. end result .. we had happy hours out on the long verandah watching the lightning light show. then cooked in the kitchen after dark .. and went back out on the verandah to eat the meal.

The Gold Fever Tour is closing in fast now, and before ya know it we will be meeting up with a stack of smiley faces for some more good times out on the road and around the campfires at night... love it.

17 degrees overnight here.... so lets hope that stinking heat has kissed us goodbye and we get some typical Autumn / Easter weather for the tour.
Over and out

Great weekend Mate, thanks for the company, 17 vans was the official tally so great roll up.
We have to make it a regular stop with the great new camp kitchen.
