He purchased it new in 1953 from Dwyers Holden in Wollongong, then several years later he traded it in on a new Holden. The car was in imaculate condition and Dwyers had it in their show room for many years but sadly we have lost track of it now.
Olympic green was a fairly rare colour as it was only used as a runout colour on the FX just before the FJ's came out, it also had the wider FJ rear springs, telescopic shocks and FJ over riders.
