Vintage Chevrolet and bondwood.

Post by griffin »

My brother photographed this outfit at an event last weekend at Clarendon.
I don't know what the van is, but it's a nice style, and it has two portholes, definitely the sign of a classy van I reckon.

I'll get to view it in due course and get a few interior photos as the owner lives not far from my brother. It has been re-clad.
By co-incidence, the car, in a former life was owned by the father of one of my mates at school, and served as the bridal car at my wedding :o
At least the car is still going strong.

Hi George.
I am thinking its a "Castle" van.
2 portholes on the one side similar to the one that the Kaybees had a few years back.
Also .. I think Leanne dragged one home from up the mountains behind Nelligen.. again.. 2 portholes on the same side
Just think.... ..But I aint saying anything...

Noice !!!

You're right Reddo, I've been reliably informed it is a Castle. I've had a bit of a fondness for them, maybe because of the two portholes. I bet it would be a lot lighter than my big 2 portholer!
