Kris found this sticker....when Brocky saw it he said "that's going on the dash!"
....one of the original design team is this gent, Jack Rawnsley.....surveying the race car......
here it is with the No.19 car....both belong to Phil Munday ....
...this is his replica Cordell wagon nearing completion.......
....and here's the genuine article.....
...here is that actual car.....
....unusual colours are the original paint shades...

Re: Some FX/FJ's in Vic....
Hi Col...
Even though you have taken me to phills shop and i have seen these cars "in the flesh" .. i still marvel at the quality of Brendan and his mates work.
Truely is a credit to Phill and his team of craftsmen.
Thanks for sharing.
Reddo... "Holdens rule .. OK"
Re: Some FX/FJ's in Vic....
G'day ,here's a couple more from Phil's collection.....
....this is a rare FX Army Ute....built from really sad beginnings , it's on one of the rotisserie's that I built for him.....
....and the finished article....
...no.19 again.....this car was purchased by Phil from the Holden dealer that it was allocated to prior to the release of the models in '48. It's still currently registered with the original number plates issued at that time, and had never been sold . It has a number of differences to the production cars, very interesting to compare these when it's next to a regular production car.
....a very nice unrestored Ute.....
...a pair of 'vans....
