Well for the past 30 days I've sat at the computer at some point and looked at that poor little June caravan on the calendar, nose down in a ditch on the side of the road, and very unbecoming of such a fine specimen. I quite like the style of it and wonder each day if it is a home built or some particular brand that hasn't sprung to mind.

Any idea Richard??

Hi George.
It is a great looking van and a bit hard to tell if it was home built or not as I cant say I have seen another. If it wasn't a factory built van than the builder did a fantastic back yard job.The Photo was taken by Ursula Powys-Lybbe in 1947. The state library of Victoria has another photo of this van at the Hume Weir ( from memory ) but sadly I wasn't allowed to use it as it was still under copy right.
