A few weeks ago I had some of our vans on display at Dapto for the Motorlife Museum at which Jack Brabham was a special guest. During the day I had a chat with Mark that had driven all the way from Victoria to meet Jack Brabham, and he was surprised to see that someone was interested in Historic Caravan.
He has since sent me a photo of his fathers Ford station wagon and caravan that his father had purchased secondhand in about 1958.
If you have a look at the photos and it looks to be a factory made job, so if this is true, a factory made caravan of this style with timber windows would have been built from about 1950 to 1955.
