A 1940 ad for Geo Pickers, who made canvas products in Queensland. They made interesting lean to tents for caravans that did not attach to the van with a marconi track, instead the tents used 3 poles along the caravan with ropes tied over the roof of the van.

1951 ad for Pic Pac folding chairs.
I have a couple of these chairs that I picked up at our local market. They fold in half and have a zipper down each side, which forms a bag to put your gear in for a day at the beach.

A couple of items that may be of interest for Campmaster for 1948 and 1952.

Here's a couple of 60s adverts for Stanley and Willow, just makes you wish you could still buy them for these prices! I'll bet the foam cooler is rare thing now, think I had one once but it wasn't too durable.

Here's a 1928 advert from the Sydney Mail for 'auto tents'. A different way of life when dad went camping and boiled the billy wearing a collar and tie and the car was that important it even had a garage.
