Souvenir Pennants.

Post by griffin »

On a trip to Melbourne last year I finally managed to get to Charlie's Museum at Arthur's Seat on the Mornington Peninsular. It has a very interesting collection of micro cars and lots of lesser known makes, along with lots of bits and pieces related to motoring.

On one wall he had a collection of felt Souvenir Pennants, the first time I think I've seen such a collection, so I had to take a few photos. It seems like every town must have had them in their hay day.

Hi George.
This is just a couple of the 22 pennants that Joshua and Claire gave me today for Fathers Day. :P :P With varying destinations from Perth to the west and Brisbane to the north.
