I found this Viscount Royal at my auto electricians a while back, it was in for a rewire, it seemed to be pretty unmolested with matching curtains and cushion covers and in good order so thought these photos may be of interest. I don't know what year it is, mid 60s? Love the kitchen laminex!

This advert from Motor Manual, March, 1967 sprukes the wonders of the Viscount range and that they were the largest caravan manufacturers in the Southern Hemisphere.

I'd like a quid for every time I went past the factory back then with caravans everywhere, the good old days!

1958 Viscount ad.
It is interesting that the ad shows the Adelaide address where the company started in 1956, as well as the Sydney address where the company relocated to some time in 1958.

Here's a road test on a Viscount 15foot caravan from Modern Motor, February, 1969. Hardly seems a fair test using a Ford Falcon GT :o
