The Rowvan Restoration.

Post by Richard »

After nearly 2 years in storage I have finall got the Rowvan out of storage :D :D and will start the work to reclad the exterior and the roof of the van. The walls will be clad in tempered masonite and the roof will be covered in canite with canvas over the top of this and painted in to make it all weatherproof.

Actually the canite ceiling was in reasonably good condition when we purchased this van, as most of the canvas roofing was in poor condition we tarped the van for the trip home. Then on the way home from Ballarat we travelled through a severe rain storm at Holbrook and of course we had a bit of water get into the roof which turned the canite black. :( :(
