National Motoring Heritage Day - Berry 15th May 2016

Post by BlueBird »

Hi all,

Shaun and I went to the show on Sunday. It was a great show, such a great variety of displays. We had no idea that it was on until the morning of the day where I saw on FaceBook that the Illawarra Car Club was heading down there. If we had of known about it earlier we would of displayed our car and vans as well :)

There was just the one Vintage Caravan - The Jennison and there was a a little home made caravan, made specially by the owner of a Mini.

Here are some photos that I took:

Hi Monica.
Thanks for sharing the photos from Berry, there was a great turn up of cars.
Just for your info the Jennison isn't a Jennison but a recent build and a bit of a hash of different vintage caravan styles and ideas.
I know the crusty old bloke that built and owns the van and car. :D :D

Yup''

The "Jennison" had me drooling until i seen the interior.... "Chessboard" on the floor :( The modern table and support leg....
and the surrounds and door on the ice chest.

Nevertheless.. i doffs my hat to the owner for having a go and building a van that looks externally "Right" for that era and nice behind the Dodge. 8-)

Hi Richard and Reddo,

Thanks for your feedback. Interesting about the "Jennison" :)

The show was great. Yes there was a huge variety of cars, bikes, farm machinery, etc, etc.

We will definitely keep our eyes open for this one for next year. It's definitely worth going to.

Monica :)
