Post by jennison »

The mint has released a set of collectable coins featuring steel bumper Holdens.
Pre order sales on their website have been swamped with the premium set of 12 in a Holden bikky tin sold out in 48 hrs
Individual coins and tins are still for sale
The launch day is sat 20th August at the mint with a few hundred premium sets put aside for sales on the day. Again, individual coins and tins will also be for sale
Runs from 10am to 2pm.. Holden enthusiasts encouraged to bring their old Holden cars along on the day.

Hi Jenno.
Funny I saw them for sale on ebay a while ago, and thought I would check out the mint website. I found them but didnt order any. Then a couple of hours later I thought bugger it fathers day is coming up so I went and ordered a set. I then noticed the following day on Facebook that the mint was now sold out. Just scraped in by the skin of my teeth.
The post office also have a FJ Panel van and Monaro coin set, as well as a three page stamp set along the same lines.
