Renovators Delight.

Post by griffin »

To use a bit of real estate novelist's speak to describe this little van found in the rear yard of a 2nd hand shop at Thirroul, north of Wollongong.

As can be seen it certainly needs some love and attention to salvage it from it's fate as a sort of storage shed.
The place has a bit of everything with a lot of 'stuff' packed into the building. The yard is just a bit of a tip really and for me, more interesting than the van is a timber half cabin cruiser also in the yard.
Almost on Richard's door step. I think he can resist, I certainly can.

I actually offered to buy this van many years ago when it was still worth restoring. Sadly its owned by a antique dealer that thought it was worth a lot of money.  Certainly worth a lot less now. :D :D
