Its sold!!
The Teardrop will be starting a new life down around Dingelly Village Victoria as........ wait for it......
A Coffee Van.. so.. its become a " Bean Hauler" not a Bike Hauler

Looks like i might be delivering it part of the way down the Hume Highway sometime this week or next...
Sniffle... sob...

Proceeds from sales will go towards recovering lost dollars spent on Supalite Resto.

I'm depressed..

I have had 3 messages with people all saying they had bid more but left it too late and the auctioned timed out..
More like they had completely forgotten that the auction was ending and are now kicking themselves.

All have stated they wanted to use it as a camper... not a coffee pot

The winner is still doddling over how to get it home to Dingelly.
I have offered to take it down there.... and have quoted him delivery costs..

Who knows  .. he might end up dipping out of the deal and the TD could possibly end up living happily ever after. 8-)

Hi

Well..... The "Not Everyones Cuppa Tea TD".... Now known as "Ëveryones Cuppa Coffee TD"
Was paid for and collected at Gundagai yesterday by the new owner "Kon"

Nice bloke .. He has come up with a positive solution to an ongoing problem at his home.
Appasrently he has a running battle each weekday morning and arvo .
There is a primary school opposite his place and all the mums park out the front of his place and block his driveway. then congregate out the front and cackle on for an hour after the kids go into school...
Answer to the problem??
Set up a coffee stall on his front lawn using the TD.
Sell cuppas and cake to the women ( and men).
He plans on plying his trade on weekends on the roadsides around Melbourne.
Gunna repaint the van bright red and polish up all the brightwork. Install a 100 litre  watertank .
Tow vehicle??... 1957 VW Beetle... again   .. I suggested that he should look into getting brakes fitted to the van ( and probably the VW as well  ).

Gotta hand it to him... hes a man with plans.

Meanwhile the new found wealth will be used on a modern ute ... plan is to let the panno put its heels up for a bit in the shed while it gets a few fiddly jobs done underneath.'... Just gotta get the Supalite out of shed.

Reddo.... dropless now

Can't help but feel the new owner must be one of Snow White's seven sidekicks feeling the downturn in the mining industry and setting off on a new venture. TD for a coffee van, something different.
