I too have copies of the patent(or did I send these to you way back) I also have a full extract of the articles by the family who did the world trip in the jennison pathfinder and if you want them to put on site I can email them to you. The pedal car van photos you...

Re: Jennison Caravans.
The 1951 and 1952 advert photos were taken in 1948 featuring my mum, uncle and aunts. I have the original photos but had not seen them in add form/layout. Nice find Richard.

Re: Cara-Ute 1957
Going round corners might be a bit hairy as well with all that weight up high and over the front, given the 1950s' suspension! I know jumping from a modern car into my EH that for the first few corners it feels like I am going to scrape the door handles with all that body roll :o :o let alone with a...

Re: GM Display Day
Well done there fellas and congrats George on getting your vaux and VV on the winners list! Looking forward to classic restos and the show. I tried to get fletch to attend the VV nats at Mildura but unfortunately WE would have to meet his travel and accom costs as community TV has NO dough! Shame :?...

Re: 1949 Murray Moon Caravan ( Chrysties Museum Tocumwal )
Lovely old van but Chrysties claim of the first pop top (or up)is incorrect. Apart from my grandfathers patented wind up pop top in 1935 there is that 1930s one currently on show in SA used by that duch?/aust artist(whose name escapes me) and the 1928 one found and purchased by Reddo just recently r...

Re: Paramount Caravans.
Its a 37 model VV/brochure by all accounts - the towcar is a 35 ford. The imperial 17'6" model came with shower, chemical toilet and its own elec generator!!!
Thought to be SA origin but not confirmed
