Propert serial no on frame?

I have been told that on Propert folding caravans the serial number is stamped into the frame of the van. It was described to me as being in the steel frame underneath and forward of the axle to the left.

Has anyone found this information on a Propert ?

Hello Graeme We dont tow it with the usual traditional tow car ! Just my husbands Commodore or we can use his 86 Jag We picked it up from Newcastle area and here are some photos on the way back. I got a 1959 Propert only last week which is in great condition.

I have named it ESKY because its so cool and its cute like an Esky

Hi Richard Yes I have now realised the main thing is the van has been kept in good condition. We are driving down there next week end to pick it up and these are the only photos we have. Hi Richard I am happy to say we are the buyers of the Propert. The photo didnt come up on the ad but I hit the buy it button. So I bought it sight unseen.
